So my driver called it as he picked me up this afternoon, describing with a short shake of his head the huge SUV bomb that exploded this morning in the upmarket Wazir Akbar Khan between a hotel popular with EU workers and the house of the former Vice President and brother of Northern Alliance hero, Massoud. Then, in typical Afghan fashion, he went back to his two phone calls (while driving)....
